New for Fall

Life has happened, and in the past year we have a wedding and a baby... all within our Lindy Hop Family. We have taken a break but we are back with a new business partner (out of the wedding) and a new model/inspiration (the baby). We are jumping back in full force with new products and updates to our website... so check back often!

Stylish Eco-Friendly Shopping

We're going to finish out this week with ways to be stylishly eco-friendly. We love these reusable grocery bags by Envirosax from Loft Party. They boast of being super-strong, water-proof, large enough to carry twice the amount of a normal grocery bag. Plus,they say that the bags stow away in a small storage pouch making it easy to keep them in the glove box or purse. With so many styles to choose from, reducing your "carbon footprint" never looked so good!

Green for Spring

Green is quickly becoming one of my favorite colors and over at Rosanna they have new collections that are not only green in color but eco-friendly as well. I can hardly resist their Mondo Glass collection. This glassware is handcrafted by Mexican artisans from completely recycled materials. Custom Monograming

We started Lindy Hop Design out of a love for monograms and a love for paper. I recently found a new blog that incorporates both, K Werner Design. She has great ideas for how to make your own cards and paper crafts and even has fun tutorial videos. She also has "Card Making Monday" where she shows how to make a new card every monday, complete with a list of supplies needed for the project. I love her ideas and it reminds me of the many hours we spent stamping and embossing when Lindy Hop first started (though we've moved to professional printing, our first stationary was all handmade). I have included two great videos on doing your own custom embossed monogramming. I hope you are inspired!

Bath and Body Works Hand Soap Event

We look forward to this sale at Bath and Body Works every year! We love the Aromatherapy line (our personal favorites are the Jasmine Vanilla & Eucalyptus Spearmint scents) and during this sale you can get them for $3 each when you buy 5... this a 50% saving because they are regularly $6 each! We both went today even though our linen closets were well stocked... we just couldn't pass up such a great deal on something we love! We have gotten spoiled and hate to have anything else in our bathrooms.

Naturally Beautiful

Just in time for summer, this line of natural shell jewelry is a must have for any wardrobe. I must admit that I wear my shell pendent all the time and by switching up the necklace I get a whole new look. It's almost more versatile than my sterling silver pieces and I for sure get more comments on it.
